Story
Theo, aged 7, and his four-legged sidekick Lily are taking on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk Wee Wander, a 4.5-mile challenge, to raise money for Dr Bell’s Family Centre! 🐾💙
Dr Bell’s is a special place for both of them. Theo attended the crèche there when he was a toddler, while Lily is now a familiar face as Dr Bell’s “office dog” – always happy to provide cuddles and a waggy welcome!
They’re now teaming up to give something back and help Dr Bell’s continue supporting local children and families.
4.5 miles is a big challenge for little legs (Theo’s and Lily’s!), so any donation, big or small, would mean so much and help cheer them all the way to the finish line.
Thank you for supporting Team Theo & Lily! 💙🐾
About DBFC:
For the past 20 years, Dr Bell's Family Centre has been a lifeline for families in Leith. Our centre is a safe, inclusive space where parents and children under 6 receive support to overcome poverty, isolation, poor mental health and trauma.
We support over 600 parents and children in Leith, one of the most deprived communities in Scotland. Many families face food insecurity, single parenthood, and isolation and poor mental health.
Over the past 20 years, we have helped around 8,000 children and families have the best start in life. We want to raise £20,000 for our 20th anniversary so we can continue supporting families in Leith.
