Izzy and Ollie were special little creatures, our fur babies and with us lived an exceptional and happy life. Both sadly passed away recently and the impact hit me and Natalie, hard. The home became a little emptier and lot quieter.

We didn’t think that we were ready or would ever be ready to adopt again but a chance, fleeting moment saw us on Millstream Animal Shelter’s site at the right time, as we fell in love with our two new additions - Heath and Harper.

Through the absolutely amazing work that the Millstream team and band of volunteers do, we were able to realise what was missing. Unknowningly, Millstream helped us with our grief and turned it back into a home. For that we will always be truly grateful. They gave us our chance to give two little fur babies their forever home and the smiles back on our faces.

So this September the O’Lions (once again!) take on Tough Mudder - 10 Miles of ice water, climbing obstacles, thick mud, barbed wired, tear gas and electric shocks and we want to aim to raise £1000 and more for the shelter so they can continue to do the astonishing work they do! So any donations will be massively appreciated - even a £1 will do the world of good!
