Story
On Christmas Eve 2025, my world changed when I was diagnosed with Triple negative breast cancer at just 33 years old. At the time, I had an 11-month-old baby, a business I loved and a life that suddenly felt like it had been turned completely upside down.
Treatment hit me hard. I became too poorly to continue working and ultimately lost my business. Alongside everything physically, I found the impact on my mental health incredibly difficult.
At some point, I decided I needed to turn something so negative into something positive.
And that’s how The Pink Ribbon Party began. 🎀
What started as an idea has grown into a community fundraising journey in support of Breast Cancer Now — bringing people together, having fun, making memories and raising as much money and awareness as we possibly can for breast cancer research and support.
Our first Pink Ribbon Afternoon Tea raised an incredible £1,946 in just one afternoon, and that was only the beginning.
We now have more fundraising events planned including afternoon teas. Sip and paint evenings and quiz nights all leading up to our biggest event — The Pink Ribbon Party on the 10th October.
My hope is that something incredibly positive can come from one of the hardest chapters of my life. Every donation, ticket bought, prize donated and person who shares our story helps us get a little closer to making a difference.
One Diagnosis. One cause. One community. Stronger together. 🎀
