Story
Time to give something back! And donating this surprise fund raising experience to my brother Jonathan to celebrate his 40th Birthday.
We are raising money for Saint Michaels hospice where our Nana received such excellent care. We saw firsthand the difference that they make. The hospice staff were compassionate, caring, and supportive, and they helped our Nana live her last days with dignity and comfort.
We believe that everyone deserves to have access to the quality care that Saint Michaels hospice provides.
Myself and my brother Jonathan will be hiking a 40 mile section of one of Englands most iconic trails, The Pennine Way. We’ll be condensing a 3/4 day hike into 2 days which starts in the lowlands of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and climbs up over the moors into the Pennines and then north up to the Cheviot Hills on the Scottish border. Compass at the ready!
Any donations are very much appreciated or if not just drop us a message of support! Thanks for reading.
More about St Michals…
Saint Michael’s is the local hospice care charity ensuring people affected by terminal illness across the Harrogate district can access high quality, personalised care. We do this by offering a range of services from our Hornbeam Park-based hospice, and out in the community in people’s own homes, as well as reaching out regionally and nationally. We are also passionate about working in partnership to enable others to offer hospice-standard care. We believe everyone should get care that is personalised and responsive to their individual needs.
