My husband, Matt was diagnosed very suddenly with stage four bowel cancer in Sept 2020, he had no other symptoms other than a worsening tummy ache over a two week period. April 2021 on his 40th birthday we were his prognosis was “not long, we’re talking months not years, maybe six”. I have always felt confident that a cure will be found and told him he just has to hang in there long enough. Which he is doing brilliantly at.

This June I’m taking part in Swim15 for Bowel Cancer UK and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.

The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families like us, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.

Dig deep in those pockets please 💰
