We raised for Dementia last December 12th 2021 inspired by my Dad who was struggling in a care home with it. It was a very stressful time for all of us, thankfully he still seemed happy most of the time on visits etc. Sadly he was taken ill on Christmas eve and passed away on January 21st 2022. It naturally was a tough time for all of his family, having seen first hand what Dementia does to families and having heard so many of the same kinds of stories from people all around the world I felt like I had to repeat the raising for the same cause!
