إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

Our beautiful Brother Saiful Alam has returned to Allah on the 30th of October 2024, a day after he reached the age of 39. Alhamdulillah ala kulli haal.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)." — Sahih Muslim

This Sadaqah Jariyah has been initiated so our dearly departed brother can benefit the ajr beyond the grave. InshaAllah

May it weigh heavy on his scales of good deeds and tip in his favour allowing him a place in Jannah. Ameen

Rural Development Foundation Global (RDF) have a running Maternity Clinic in the Sunamganj District. This rural region has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in Bangladesh.

Approximately 24 new born babies per 1000 die due to birth complications and not receiving the proper after care required.

The Prophet ﷺ said, “...Stay with her, Paradise lies beneath your Mother's feet.” - Sunan al-Nasā’ī

Many women in rural Bangladesh still give birth at home without the assistance and expertise of trained midwives and a proper medical facility. RDF maternity clinic is operating to counter that, help aid and provide lifesaving services. The charity also provides mobile workshops throughout rural villages to educate mothers about the necessity of pre-and post-natal healthcare.

If the funds permits it, we would like to dedicate a whole ward in memory of his name to the gift of sight charity campaign. Providing free cataract operations to those in need. Bi-iznillah.

May Allah accept it from us all, continue giving us the tawfique to honour the rights we have over one another and most importantly keep us sincere in His ibadah. Ameen
