Story
Each week across Yorkshire, 15 people are told "you have a brain tumour". Brain Tumours can affect anyone, at any time.
Our mission at YBTC is to improve the lives of people who have been impacted by a brain tumour diagnosis. We aim to fund world-class research here in Yorkshire to find kinder brain tumour treatments, while being a "hand in the dark" for patients, and their loved ones: emotionally, practically and financially for as long as they need us.
We are raising money, in memory of our dad, Nicholas Suggitt, who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour, Grade 4 Gliosarcoma, in December 2024. Nick lost his battle with Gliosarcoma on Tuesday 25th February 2025 with Brenda, Colin and Kerry by his side.
Colin and I have challenged ourselves to running a marathon to raise as much money as we possibly can to help other families and patients within our area getting more support and hopefully a cure for brain tumours.
Thank you so much for reading and any donations that are received.
