Why? To raise money for the most incredible charity and company - Travelling Light.

Travelling Light offers creative experiences to children and young people in Barton Hill and across Bristol.

They believe in every child’s entitlement to creativity and imagination and proactively engage with children and young people who would otherwise have little or no access to arts and cultural activities.

They are committed to supporting the next generation of artists and arts leaders by bringing together young people with the best artists and offering progression routes for young people through to careers in theatre.

In 2023, Travelling Light unfortunately lost their national funding. Fundraising and private donations enable their incredible participation programme, which provides a regular Youth Theatre offer to underprivileged young people aged 7-25, which also including SEND young people and disabled young adults.
