Story
This September, I’m walking the Camino Portugués - a 260km pilgrimage from Porto to Santiago - to raise money for WaterAid and to honour a deeper calling.
For the past year, I’ve been filming quiet, meditative films from sacred walks around the world as part of a creative project called The Wandering Stream. The idea is simple: to walk in silence, to reconnect with stillness, and to share that stillness with others through natural imagery and sound. No music. No narration. Just the sacred pulse of the world.
Water has always been at the heart of this journey. It’s what I film, it’s what I follow - and it’s what many people in the world still live without.
So I’m inviting you to walk with me in spirit. Every pound donated will support WaterAid’s mission to bring clean water, decent toilets, and hygiene to communities who need it most.
Whether you’re drawn to the art, the silence, or the cause - thank you for being here. If you’d like to follow the walk, you can find The Wandering Stream on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
With love and gratitude,
James Gloster-Burke
