Story
This September, I’m walking the Camino Portugués – a 260 km pilgrimage from Porto to Santiago – to raise £1 for every kilometre walked for WaterAid.
For the past year, I’ve been filming quiet, meditative films from sacred walks around the world as part of my project The Wandering Stream. The idea is simple: walk in silence, reconnect with stillness, and share that stillness with others through natural imagery and sound—no music, no narration, just the sacred pulse of the world.
Water has always been at the heart of this journey. It’s what I film, it’s what I follow—and it’s what millions still live without.
So I’m inviting you to walk with me in spirit. Every pound donated supports WaterAid’s mission to bring clean water, decent toilets, and hygiene to communities who need it most.
Whether you’re drawn to the art, the silence, or the cause—thank you for being here. Follow along on The Wandering Stream (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) as we take each step.
With gratitude,
James Gloster-Burke
