Story
This summer, I’ll be walking 1,550 km from the Alps in Switzerland all the way back home to my local pub in Kettering — aiming to arrive in time for the World Cup Final on 19 July 2026.
That’s nearly 37 marathons in just 44 days. I will be in possession of a beer for the entirety of the journey, and will deliver it to my best mate who will be waiting for me at our local pub on the 19 Jul 26!
This challenge will push me to my absolute limits — physically and mentally — but it’s all for something far bigger than me: raising awareness and support for men’s mental health.
I’m proud to be supporting MANUP?, a charity I only wish I’d discovered earlier in life. Their mission is to break down the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and create a world where conversations are open, honest, and supported. Through weekly events and safe spaces, they’re helping men speak up and connect.
If this journey inspires you, I’d love your support — whether that’s following along, sharing the story, or donating if you can.
If this challenge helps even one person open up instead of suffering in silence, then it’s already been worth it.
Let’s start talking. Let’s support each other.
Together, we can take on the silent crisis.
