On Friday 27th June, the Pave Aways team will take on our next charity challenge: walking up and down The Wrekin all the way from dawn to dusk to raise money for our Charity of the Year, The Lingen Davies Cancer Fund.

The ‘Wrekin Relay’ will see us take turns in teams to climb the iconic Shropshire hill from 4am until 10pm, maintaining a continuous relay throughout the day. Every step we take will be in support of the newly launched Sunflower Appeal, Lingen Davies’ £5 million campaign to improve cancer care across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales.

The incredible work that Lingen Davies does holds a personal meaning for us at Pave Aways, as one of our team is being supported by them through their treatment. Every step we take is in support of Lingen Davies' vital services - from early diagnosis to life-changing treatment and aftercare.

Your donation will help fund essential care, equipment, and support for people in our community.

We’d also love your support on the day – come along to the Wrekin car park and cheer our teams on as they take on the climb! We’ll also be selling refreshments to raise additional funds for this amazing cause. (Please note: the car park is pay and display.)

2. Eligibility: Open to UK residents aged 18 and over.

3. How to Enter:

• Make a donation to our Wrekin Relay JustGiving page (or in-person on the day at our refuelling station at The Wrekin carpark) in aid of Lingen Davies Cancer Fund before 11:59pm on Sunday 29th June 2025 to receive one free entry into the prize draw.

• No purchase necessary. To enter without donating, please email your full name and contact details to reception@paveaways.co.uk with the subject line “Wrekin Relay Prize Draw” before the closing date.

4. Prize: One winner will receive a DeWalt Drill worth over £250. No cash alternative available. The prize is non-transferable.

5. Winner Selection: The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries and contacted by Friday 4th July 2025 via email or phone. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days, a new winner will be selected.

6. Publicity: By entering, participants agree to their name being used in promotional materials and social media (first name and town only) unless they request anonymity.

7. Data Protection: Any personal data provided will only be used for administering this draw and will not be shared with third parties or used for marketing without consent.
