Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year I decided it would be a great idea to raise some money in memory of a good friend, Pete ‘Warm Stout Pete’ Hatherley who, despite a valiant fight, succumbed to cancer whilst at the Dougie Mac Hospice. He left us surrounded by family, friends and, importantly, great staff looking after him.

We’ve all been touched by cancer at some point, be it personally or through relatives/friends battling it. Without your donations the Dougie Mac ceases to exist and ceases to help those battling cancer and their family & friends.

Turns out, they also now support dementia patients, something else a little closer to me personally now than it has been before!

So, with all that in mind, I’m doing it again!

On 11th July, some poor soul gets to strap themselves to me and throw me out of a plane!! However this time I’ll be joined by Pete’s wife Vic and our good friend Sean who have both decided they need to join me!

We can’t do it without your donations and Doigie Mac can’t survive without them either! I’m reliably informed it costs around £47 PER MINUTE to run the hospice!

So come on, put your hands in your pockets and make Vic, Sean and myself throw ourselves out of that plane!!
