Cancer is a disease that affects almost everyone in one way or another and which, sadly, took the life of our very good friend Peter “Warm Stout Pete” Hatherley at the start of this year.

We’ve both also seen colleagues and family members go through Cancer and seen the impact it has on not only those with the diagnosis, but on family and friends as well. It cannot be underestimated.

For both of us, this time was different in that we both encountered the Dougie Mac Hospice for the first time. It was evident from the first time we set foot through the doors, that it is a special place staffed by very special people who all go out of their way for anyone that passes through the doors.

That’s where we all come in.

To raise much needed funds for the Hospice I’ve convinced Rachel that jumping out of an aeroplane is a great idea and so that’s what we’re doing!

All we’d like you to do is to sponsor us to do it… please 🙏! Every penny will help, but clearly pounds help even more 😃.

The £1,000 target set pays for the jump and provides funds for the Hospice!

Go on! You know you want to see us throw ourselves out of a plane, whilst hoping the professional didn’t pick the wrong pack up! 😳😂
