Thirsk and Northallerton Golf Club has chosen the Herriot Hospice at the Lambert in Thirsk as their Captains’ Charity in 2025. We are delighted to support the vital work that the Herriot Hospice carries out in our community as it becomes operational in the early part of this year.

Thirsk and Northallerton Golf Club’s Captains, together with the wider golf team, will be organising several events throughout the year including both the Ladies and Mens’ Captain’s days along with the Charity golf day on August 24th which is specifically aimed at raising money for this great local cause.Throughout the year donations will also be given by those golfers unfortunate enough to land in either of the greenside bunkers on the 18th hole!

The new facility will support multiple families through the final weeks and days at their 6-bed inpatient unit in the heart of Thirsk. This will help patients and their loved ones lives along with bereavement and emotional wellbeing support for adults, young people and children. All donations to help the wonderful staff to provide this vital service for our community are warmly received.
