Story

World Record Attempt: Part 1 UpdateWe regret to inform you that Part 1 of our world record attempt has come to a close due to Jordan experiencing acute pericarditis, causing distress and potential complications. The demanding nature of walking/running for 10-12 hours every day over the course of 19 days posed a risk to Jordan's health. As advised by his private cardiology clinic, Jordan must reduce his daily walking activities. Despite this setback, our commitment to our cause remains unwavering. Our Message of Resilience:

From the beginning, we embarked on this journey with a powerful message in mind: "There will be times in your life when you feel down and out, facing challenges similar to Jordan's. However, remember that we all have a path of stepping stones to navigate, some more difficult than others. With the right professional help and guidance, we can give ourselves a fighting chance to recover what we may have lost. It takes immense dedication to transform our lives, from our food habits to our sleeping patterns and even our breathing. But the rewards will be worth it when we witness the path opening up before us."Plan B - Embracing Change:

While Part 1 has concluded prematurely, we are determined to continue our mission through Plan B. Our revised plan involves completing 6 hours of walking, running, or cycling every day. Jordan will contribute three hours of this effort, either through indoor cycling, outdoor biking, or walking. He must not exceed 1 hour of exercise at a time and should allow himself ample rest. The remaining three hours are reserved for the public to participate and share the workload. Here's how you can get involved:Take part in physical activities such as walking, running, or cycling for any duration within the designated three-hour window.Share your efforts on social media, capturing photos or videos of your activity and tagging us to showcase your support. Please remember to tag @jordywynjones, @thisismyheart23, and @bhf.Each contribution made by the public will deduct the corresponding time from the three-hour total. If multiple individuals participate and exceed the allocated time, the excess will carry over to the following day's efforts.Together, we can create a community united in raising awareness for our cause and supporting the British Heart Foundation.

Our main priority remains raising £100,000 for the British Heart Foundation. We acknowledge that the abrupt end to Part 1 was disheartening, but we refuse to give up. We stand by our commitment to promoting positive change and personal growth. It takes courage to show vulnerability, and we are humbled by the overwhelming support we have received. The enthusiasm and positivity from everyone toward our new plan have been truly inspiring.Join us in this extraordinary journey of resilience and make a difference for the British Heart Foundation. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
