We are raising money for Bravehearts NI because of the incredible support they gave our family when my younger sister Lucy was recovering in hospital after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest in early 2020.

During an extremely frightening and uncertain time, Bravehearts NI were there to offer comfort, guidance, and practical help when we needed it most. Their support made a huge difference to Lucy’s recovery and to us as a family, and it’s something we will always be grateful for.

By running the Belfast Marathon and fundraising for Bravehearts NI, we want to give back to a charity that carries out such vital work for families facing the unthinkable, and help ensure they can continue supporting others in the future.
