This April & October I will be joining colleagues for Sysco to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon & The Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise vital funds for Meals & More.

Meals & More works to improve the lives of children facing poverty and social isolation by providing nutritious meals, education, and physical activities during school holidays. We achieve this by partnering with holiday clubs across the UK, offering grants funded by our dedicated supporters, which enable these clubs to deliver essential resources and programs for children in need. Together, we create healthier, happier futures for children and families.

As well as supporting this incredible cause, I am undertaking this as a personal challenge to improve my fitness and mental health. I am a frequent runner and have completed 1/2 marathons in the past. This time I am aiming to push myself to new heights and complete the LLHM under 1:40, which would be a personal best by over 6 minutes.

To achieve this I will be running 5 times per week, completing over 500km between now and race day on April the 6th (that is the plan anyway).
