Story
Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise funds for the amazing charity, Meals & More.
This year, I’m taking things to the next level and I will be running the London Marathon on April 26th, once again in support of this life-changing cause.
Why Meals & More?
Meals & More is dedicated to improving the lives of children living in poverty and facing social isolation. They provide nutritious meals, education, and physical activities during school holidays - times when many children go without. By partnering with holiday clubs across the UK and offering grants funded by generous supporters, they deliver essential resources and programs that create healthier, happier futures for children and families.
To date, Meals & More has provided over 2.5 million meals, and they’re working toward an ambitious goal of 1 million meals every year. Every single penny truly makes a difference.
My Challenge
Those who followed my journey last year know I take my running seriously. This time, I’ve set myself an ambitious target: a sub-3:30 finish at the London Marathon, which will be a 38 minute PB.
Training began back in November, and I’ve already hit the big milestones of 70 km weeks and 30 km long runs, but there’s plenty more to come. I’ll be sharing regular updates here and on my LinkedIn page, so stay tuned!
How You Can Help
Any support for Meals & More would mean the world to me, to the charity, and most importantly, to the children who benefit from their incredible work. Last year I managed to raise over £3,000, so I am hoping to go one better this year and reach £3,500.
For businesses donating £100 or more, I’ll proudly display your company name or logo on my race shirt. I’ll reach out directly for artwork if this applies.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and encouragement. Together, we can make a real difference!
