I have decided to run The Big Green Scunthorpe 10k on the 18th May 2025. I am running the 10k to fundraiser for The Proud Trust who provide a safe and welcoming environment for young people to explore their identity and be proud of who they are. They help our young people not only survive but thrive in their communities. Growing up as a knowingly queer child, life is tough, and this charity is helping make sure that our LGBTQ+ youth have that supportive environment.

I am the Principal of a performing arts academy and each week I provide a safe environment for my children to be who they want to be, and be in that space where they don’t feel judged or mocked. This environment shouldn’t just be a one off each week but should be every moment of these young superstar’s lives.
