In Autumn last year my lovely Granny was diagnosed with Dementia. An incredibly cruel disease that her sister Erica also suffered from several years ago.

In March this year my sister and I, along with several members of our extended family are running the Cambridge Half Marathon, to raise money for Alzheimers Research UK.

Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
