Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. It is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. Help fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.

As someone who suffers from Brain Cancer, I not only want to find a cure for myself but also for others who will go on to face this horrible disease. I'm very fortunate to have a great network around me, but I'm aware others won't have and will find this journey a lot more overwhelming than myself.

As if running a marathon wasn't hard enough with such short legs, I will be taking part in-between my 9th and 10th rounds of chemotherapy.
