In loving memory of Maeve Ellen Drew 💕

On the 21st of August 2025, our beautiful daughter Maeve was born at Harrogate District Hospital. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to her far too soon, following a pregnancy loss due to medical reasons (TFMR).

We were cared for in the Bluebell Suite – a dedicated bereavement suite within the maternity department. This special place gave us the gift of time with Maeve in a safe, private and comforting environment.

The Bluebell Suite exists thanks to the generosity of bereaved families, fundraisers, and the tireless work of Harrogate-based charity Our Angels. As well as creating this special space, the charity provides memory boxes, funds bereavement training for midwives, and has spent over 15 years ensuring no family faces the heartbreak of baby loss alone.

To honour Maeve’s memory, and to help ensure other families receive the same comfort and care we did, Tom is running the Yorkshire Marathon. Every step he takes is for our little girl and for all families who have experienced the pain of losing a child.
