***UPDATE***
***Distance has been doubled to 200 miles!***
Strokes can affect anyone at anytime as I found out in September 2022 when I suffered an ischemic stroke at just 35. I was sent a tonne of support literature and advice from the Stroke Association which helped with getting back to work and tips on getting life back together. My best friend's Mum also suffered a severe stroke a few months after mine, and I can now really appreciate the work they do to help families and individuals who have been affected.
I am hoping to run 3/4 of it and walk the rest (if all goes well I'd like to run all of it throughout the month). I am extremely fortunate to be able to complete (or at least to attempt to complete) a challenge like this after my stroke, and as I know many in my situation cannot, I want to do what I can to fundraise and give back.
