Story

Every year, 2,400 men in the UK are diagnosed with testicular cancer—a disease that, when caught early, is 95% curable. But too many men don’t know the signs, and precious time is lost.

The Robin Cancer Trust is on a mission to change that. Through their life-saving awareness, education, and support programmes, they are reaching men across the UK with vital information that can save their lives.

This November, I’m taking on the Big Ballsy Challenge — running 100 kilometres to raise awareness and funds for testicular cancer.

I’m doing this not just as a physical challenge, but as a personal one. I want to prove to myself that when I set my mind to something, I can see it through — step by step, kilometre by kilometre.

But more importantly, I want to use this challenge to raise awareness about testicular cancer — a condition that, when caught early, is one of the most treatable forms of cancer. Too often, men ignore the warning signs or feel too embarrassed to talk about it. If this challenge encourages even one person to check themselves or get something looked at sooner, then every kilometre will be worth it.

I’d love your support — whether that’s a donation, sharing my page, or simply spreading the message: check yourself, talk about it, and don’t ignore the signs and together we can beat testicular cancer.
