Story
why I'm taking on this challenge ⬇️
This August, I'll be cycling over 2,300km from Musselburgh to Benidorm as part of my challenge, **Miles That Matter**.
I'm taking on this journey in memory of my sister, who we sadly lost to suicide. Losing someone you love changes your life forever, and for me, it came after already losing both my dad and my mum at a young age.
The loss of my dad, my mum and my sister had a huge impact on my own mental health. There were times when I really struggled, and I know first-hand how important it is to have someone to talk to and somewhere to turn when life feels overwhelming.
That's why I've chosen to raise money for Andy's Man Club – an incredible charity that gives men a safe place to talk, support one another and know they're never alone.
This challenge isn't about setting records or proving anything. It's about remembering my family, raising awareness for men's mental health, and hopefully encouraging someone who might be struggling in silence to reach out for help.
I'll be funding the journey myself and sharing every step of the adventure – the highs, the lows and everything in between.
Whether you donate, share my story or simply follow along, thank you for being part of this journey. Your support means more than words can say.
Every mile matters. 💙🚲
Tommy 💙
