Throughout Pat's nursing career she achieved many things due to her dedication, drive and determination. She was proud to have been afforded the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the lives of colleagues and patients.

Pat was instrumental along with Patty Prior in establishing the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit at the William Harvey Hospital. This lead directly to being invited to give presentations to other establishments within the NHS and local government departments who wished to adopt best practice.

The unit enabled patients to receive bespoke treatment, advice, assistance and support to aid their mental and physical journey towards recovery.

Latterly in her career, when she moved into management she oversaw the provision of this and other cardio related services in the East Kent Hospital Trust.
