Story
Wow I really can't believe this.
As a lot of you will know, I have spent the last couple of years out of running and taking part in sport in general. This year, I set my sights on getting back into sport and also giving back to the community. This is why I am running the London Marathon in support of St John Ambulance.
Over the years, I have attended a lot of first aid courses provided by St Johns, and I have been at events where their medical teams have helped my friends. The knowledge I have gained from them has helped me keep others safe both in my water safety work and general life. It is now time to give back to them.
This really will be one of my biggest personal challenges to date. For many reasons, I have found it hard to get back into training and I hope this will be the challenge and motivation I need. This will be a year long challenge as I am starting back at the beginning.
I really hope you will be able to support me with this!
St Johns is the charity that steps forward in the moments that matter, to save lives and keep communities safe.
It is only with your help that we can continue to help keep communities safe.
