Please help me raise some money for WheelPower, who I've been fundraising and volunteering for a number of years now. They provide opportunities for children and adults with physical impairments to take part in sport. They are based at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Aylesbury which is the birthplace of the Paralympic movement, WheelPower is at the heart of wheelchair sport.

So for a different type of fundraising for myself this year, as well as doing the Tour De Vale I'm also doing a skydive on the same weekend.

WheelPower events can be a life changing for participants and their friends & family. It gives them all the opportunity for inclusion and support and to be able to try something new!

Take Malachy for example:

Malachy attended his first WheelPower National Junior Games in 2023 along with his grandmother and guardian, Lucy.

Here is what Lucy had to say about Malachy’s time at the National Junior Games:

"I didn’t think there was a lot of hope going forward, but this event has given me so much. Every person I have spoken to has given me leaflets or telephone numbers, or email addresses or clubs that we can get to nearer to home. We’ve got opportunities that we’d never thought we’d have, and now we can explore different avenues."
