Story
firstly a little about my self, I started running January 2024 and struggled to do 5k,I chose to begin running as I’d lost motivation for the gym and basic daily tasks, it’s soon consumed my life and given me an outlet to help with the things I experience due to my ADHD. now I’m running half marathons, I want to push my self the extra mile and get a marathon under my belt;so what better way to do it than raise money for an amazing charity
I work within health and social care with adults on the autistic spectrum, here I have learnt about the importance of inclusion and making sure everyone has the same opportunities to be part of social activities within the community. This I why I have chosen PHAB
Phab inspires and supports disabled and non-disabled children, young people and adults, to make more of life together, through their network of 130 clubs over England & Wales, with 8,000 members and their Phab residential adventures, breaking down community barriers, reducing social isolation, and creating opportunities for all involved to enjoy the same activities and challenges side by side.
