Superman Cots For Tots & Grand Appeal Fundraising
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This idea all started when I told Jaxon that when we would leave the hospital, I would take him along with me in his pushchair during my next Half Marathon, dressed in my Superman suit.
I was sadly not able to do this, my challenge was to run 46 Half Marathons in 46 weeks dressed in a Superman suit, running around Weston, carrying a 5x3ft flag, in memory of the 46 days we had with Jaxon.
I started my challenge on the 7th July 2023 and ended the week of the anniversary of Jax's passing. My final finishing line for this challenge was at St Michael's Hospital on the 14th of May 2024.
Fast forward to December and we welcomed Jaxon’s little brother Arthur to the world. It was not long after we came home with Arthur, we rushed off to the children’s hospital, being put back into an all too familiar situation and venturing into the unknown and waiting for answers.
Thankfully, the hardworking PICU heroes helped Arthur, just like the NICU heroes did for Jaxon. From there on, Arthur became a strong and mighty fighter just like his older brother.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, will help towards this amazing charity which help to support families like ours, those that are in need of the NICU and PICU unit and more. They helped us give our little fighters every fighting chance.
Both Cots for Tots and The Grand Appeal have helped our family so much, this is why they’ll always be close to my heart and I’ll forever help them raise money.
The challenges will keep on coming and the Superman suit along side the flag will carry on flying.
