Mental Health world Cup 2024 · 11 May 2024 ·

The UK's best 5-a-side football tournament against suicide - lace up your boots and take to the pitch to stand with us against suicide.

Story

We are in.

The Thorpes Joinery team will be lacing up their boots, dusting off their shin pads and trying not to use all our energy in the first 10 minutes. That's right, we are going to the Mental Health World Cup!

Will football be coming home (Leicester, obviously)? Who knows.

All we know is that the MHWC is one of the biggest events in the construction industry calendar, an incredible initiative played at the home of Queens Park Rangers most importantly, raising funds for CALM.

125 lives are lost every week to suicide. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. That's not ok!

We are proud to be using our reasonably questionable football skills to support CALM, they are a suicide prevention charity who are taking a stand against suicide. They do it through their life-saving helpline and webchat, culture-changing campaigns, and by bringing people together to reject living miserably.

Please donate and help this incredible charity save lives, it is that simple.
