Story
Eight fearless women, armed with hiking boots, protein bars, and questionable map-reading skills, are taking on the legendary Three Peaks Challenge — that’s Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon — all in 24 hours, no big deal (except it totally is).
We've decided to tackle the Three Peaks mainly for the fun (yes, really!), but we’re also raising a bit of cash for a brilliant cause while we’re at it.
The Sharan Project is a UK-based charity which supports women who have been disowned or are at risk of disownment, domestic abuse and forced marriage. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to them with the aim to empower women to rebuild their lives independently and without fear.
Our big hike will take place on the longest day of the year, June 21st. Expect a cracking adventure, a few dodgy blisters, and probably some breathless bonding on the way up. And the real heroes? Two of our mums, who’ve kindly volunteered to be our support crew and drivers — for the snacks, Spotify playlists, and spare socks.
It’s all uphill from here — literally.
