Story
Hi! I turned 40 this year, and instead of my mid-life crisis being to get a tattoo or a Ford Mustang, I’ve decided to set myself a proper challenge — the notorious Three Peaks!
In 24 hours, we’ll attempt to climb the three highest peaks in the UK: starting at Ben Nevis in Scotland, taking on Scafell Pike in England, and finishing at Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in Wales — all within a single day.
I’ll be doing this alongside seven other brave adventurers, including my brother (Nathan) & my dad (Pat — or Pops), who turned 70 last year. In 2024, my dad was diagnosed with myeloma. It was a shock to most of us — less so to him. True to form, he’s faced it head-on and hasn’t let it slow him down for a second.
This challenge is about pushing limits — something he’s always quietly done — and we want to use it to raise funds for Myeloma UK to support others living with this disease.
If you’re able to donate, thank you. If not, your encouragement means just as much. We’ll need plenty of that over 24 hours.
Let’s do this.
