We are raising money on behalf of Mark (Amy's Dad), who was diagnosed with bowel cancer in September 2021 and has since gone through surgery, chemotherapy and targeted therapy to help slow the spread of his cancer. Unfortunately, like many, his cancer is not curable.

We wanted to raise money for a cause of his choosing, and he said he couldn't fault the hard-working nurses and doctors that have looked after him, every other week at The Collingwood Centre, Colchester Hospital.

The Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals Charity raises money to improve facilities, fund new equipment, provide additional services, support staff development and initiate local medical research and innovative projects at The East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

Every donation is greatly appreciated and makes a real and positive difference to the experience of being in hospital.
