Three Peaks UK
We would like to put on a unique and special charity fundraising event that myself and my close ones will be hosting in memory of our loved ones. The event will be made up into several parts including three difficult and renowned hikes across the UK, followed by a charity fundraiser event, which will be raising money for charities close to our hearts, in particular Rett Reverse and The MSA Trust. 💛🩵
As a lot of you know my partner Kiene and his family lost their beautiful sister and daughter, Mollie May Shaw, to Rett Syndrome only a couple of years ago, a beautiful angel that could light up any room with that infectious smile. In addition to this my beautiful friend Keisha and her family have recently lost their hero, father and husband, Carl Devon Mair, a kind, caring and fun loving soul that could dance anybody under the table, whom too will be deeply missed. ❤️
Anybody is welcome to take part whether it’s for the entire fundraiser or even just parts of it, any support is appreciated and encouraged.
We will be taking on the Three highest Peaks of the UK- Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. Followed by a charity event to remember. 🏔️
Rett Syndrome is a neurological condition which most often strikes previously healthy little girls between their first and second birthday, leaving them with multiple disabilities and medical complexities for life.
Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a rare, fatal, and progressive neurological disease that causes brain deterioration and disrupts movement. It's characterized by ataxia, parkinsonism, and autonomic failure. Symptoms worsen over time and include: Slow movement** Bradykinesia, or slower than normal movements, can make everyday tasks difficult. People with MSA may have a shuffling walk and small steps. Loss of coordination** MSA can cause balance and coordination issues. Similarly, Reverse Rett is dedicated to supporting those facing neurological challenges, including their families and loved ones. Together, we aim to make a real difference for those living with these life-changing conditions.
By taking part in this challenge, you’ll help raise vital funds for these two incredible causes, while also spreading awareness about MSA and the challenges faced by individuals living with neurological conditions.
Whether you’re hiking as part of a team, walking in memory of a loved one, or simply seeking to make a positive impact, every step counts! Join us as we climb for a cure, climb for a cause, and climb to make a lasting difference for so many.
Together, we can make every step matter.🙏🏼
