We are a charity that is committed to reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation by pairing volunteers with the elderly community. Our aim is to bring people together, enabling them to forge meaningful and lasting relationships.

Story

💛 3 Girls Walking to Help Lonely Grandparents 💛

We are three friends aged 8, 8 and 5. We love going on adventures together, and this time we wanted our adventure to help someone else, too.

We learned that some older people feel very lonely because they don’t have anyone to talk to or visit them. That made us feel sad, and we want to help. So we are doing a big walking challenge in the Peak District! Our goal is to walk a total of 12 miles to raise money for the charity Adopt a Grandparent. They help older people find kind friends to talk to and spend time with. We hope our walk can make someone feel happier and less alone.

💛 We think every grandparent should feel loved and remembered 💛

Thank you so much for helping us — it really means a lot to us!
