Tia was 17 years old when Ewing sarcoma took her from us in March 2026. She was a daughter, a sister , a grand daughter, a niece, a cousin and a friend. One of those rare people who made every room brighter simply by being in it.

She was selfless to her core. She always put others before herself. If you were having a bad day, Tia would find a way to make you smile. That was her gift. Making people happy wasn't just something she did. It was who she was.

Tia was a girly girl through and through. She loved the colour pink, butterflies, flowers and all things beautiful. She was a huge fan of Taylor Swift, and her music became the soundtrack to so many of our memories with her. Above everything, she loved her family with a fierce but gentle devotion that never wavered.

Tia faced her diagnosis with incredible strength. She went through treatment with courage and determination, always thinking of others even in the hardest moments. But despite everything she endured, her cancer returned within just a few months.

We sought opinions from specialists across the UK, as well as in America, Germany and India, searching for anything that might help. As time passed and options narrowed, doors began to close.

Tia fought with everything she had. And we never gave up hope, even in the moments when it felt like others had.

Tia's Light exists because her spirit is too bright to ever go out. This campaign is our promise to her, that her name will always be connected to something meaningful. That her life will continue to help others. That she will never be forgotten.

The funds raised will go towards vital research into Ewing sarcoma, helping to open up access to new treatments and clinical trials. Our aim is to give other families more time, more options, and more hope than we were given.
