Asda Tickled Pink supporting Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!

Asda Tickled Pink · 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
Asda PWLLHELI is raising vital funds throughout the year ,with charity partners Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!, together we're putting breast cancer awareness on everyone's check list
Our Community Champion Jo knows first hand the importance of early detection of lumps, bumps and changes in your body which could be cancerous as her mother ,grandmother ,aunt , brother and sisters have all had cancer.
This is why she is so passionate about helping others and raising awareness of the signs of breast cancer with our lovely ASDA Pwllheli Colleagues as no matter your age men and women PLEASE check your boobs /chest for any lumps or bumps .
We are so proud of one of our much loved customers Bethan an inspirational, lady who was diagnosed with breast cancer and she has joined us by spreading the word and fundraising such a determined lady who actually came into store the day after her 1st chemo treatment along with her husband to join us on our awareness and fundraising day…and we have gotten so close , and a she continues to help us and we are Proud and so happy to have our Cancer Survivor and she has a t shirt with this on which she proudly wore in October .
We have tombolas raffles etc all instore with cash donations which is fantastic we raised £2,066.41…BUT not everyone has cash anymore, that’s why this Just Giving Page is going to help us raise so much more … as we can have our QR code on our events and our customers donate …it’s giving everyone another choice of how to donate.
With 1 in 7 women being diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and nearly 400 men diagnosed with breast cancer every year, your donations are needed now more than ever. By donating today, you’re helping raise funds for new treatments, vital education and life-changing support, for anyone who needs it. The funds you’ve raised will help deliver incredible impact for people affected by breast cancer. We also want people of all ages, ethnicities and genders, in the Asda community to get in the habit of regularly checking their boobs, pecs or chest, so it’s as normal and routine as doing your Asda shop.
