Story
Thank you for visiting my page.
I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, because.......my sister Emma is alive and has survived 10 years cancer free from Sarcoma. Many of her fellow patients have not been so lucky, and Sarcoma UK is a cause close to our families heart.
I have ran many 10km runs, at snails pace, and completed ultra-marathons walking BUT I've never ran a half Marathon! so to celebrate 2 things, my sister......and then me being the big 50 this year, I'm running a Virtual Half Marathon! I have the best support buddy in my lovely friend Zoe, together we will do this!
Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep our Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Thank you for your support.
