Story
Next week, Nath and I are raising money for the Alzheimer's Society by undertaking the Three Peak Challenge, climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales. That's Ben Nevis, followed by Scarfell Pike and then Snowdon, a total of 3064m in elevation, 37km of hiking, and 462 miles of driving... All in 24hours!
There are 55 million people living with dementia around the globe. It is estimated that this number will rise to 139 million by 2050. Pretty much everyone's life is touched by dementia at some point to some degree, whether that's actually suffering with the disease, losing a friend or family member, or knowing others who have.
Please support us as we take on this crazy challenge by donating to this worthy charity, and in doing so you'll be helping support all those thousands of people living with and supporting those with dementia in the UK, as well as helping fund further research into this disease.
We are starting the hike on Thursday the 10th of July aiming to finish it on the Friday, so please keep your fingers crossed for good weather!
