Cold Water Dip in the Solway Firth · 26 December 2024

We work with victims, perpetrators and children living with domestic and sexual abuse across West Cumbria. We offer a free confidential helpline, 1-2-1 counselling, group support, couples counselling, children’s counselling, holistic therapies & training public & private organisations.

Story

Jaymie, Amanda, Sammy, Emma, Jade, Andrea, Vicki, Georgia, Kirsty Louise, Chloe, Kirsty, Jackie, Beth, Joanie, Lisa and Deborah are thrilled to announce their participation in the 'Cold Water Dip in the Solway Firth' on December 26, 2024. This personal challenge aims to raise £500 for the cause. Supporting them will enable The Freedom Project to continue vital work and make a real difference in the lives of those affected by domestic abuse.

The Freedom Project is the only organisation offering free, long-term, community-based support in West Cumbria as part of its mission to help stop domestic abuse.

Working with perpetrators, families and children, and have supported over 10,000 individuals during our 22 years. Referrals last year increased by 57%.

Key services include a helpline, group support for adults and children victims of abusive relationships, one-to-one counselling & training.
