Story
I am very excited, (although, slightly terrified!!) to be taking on this amazing challenge! Alongside some brilliant colleagues, I’ll be cycling all the way from Cardiff to London over two days, with a night under canvas.
We’re doing it all to raise money for the Museum of Homelessness, a remarkable charity that uses storytelling, research, and advocacy to highlight the realities of homelessness and push for lasting change.
Museum of Homelessness is the world's first Museum of Homelessness and Rede has supported this award winning charity since inception. MoH not only tells untold stories of homelessness but also carries out direct support for people experiencing homelessness including a winter shelter in the museum.
Rough sleeping has risen 91% since 2021. In 2025, Rede are taking it to the next level to raise even more funds for MoH’s life changing work to tackle homelessness. I would be so grateful for any small amount to go towards this amazing charity!
In 2024 - the first year that MoH had our own bricks and mortar site in Finsbury Park, London - Rede’s support for MoH had even more impact.
With Rede's help they have been able to provide:
3,276 hours of paid employment in the museum
3,327 hot community meals
101 warm safe beds through our own community shelter inside the museum
This cycle challenge is:
181 miles
2 Nations
2 Days
1 Night (in a tent)
This is a serious challenge!
