Story
Some of you may know that Karen volunteers with TOGS one day a week. We love what TOGS do and wanted to do something to raise some money for such a worthwhile local charity. We have included a blurb from the TOGS website below to let you know exactly what they do.
Tim, Karen, Anna, Laurie and Rosie will all be walking the Kiltwalk in Dundee on 20th August (the shorter 4.3mile walk...we aren't making our 5yo walk 20 miles!). We would very much appreciate anything you can donate!
'Togs is a non-profit organisation serving Dundee and the surrounding areas. We aim to be the ‘go-to’ service for families struggling to provide essential clothing and equipment for their children (any baby or child classed as a dependant).
We run similarly to a food-bank – we receive donations from the public and distribute them to children suffering from the effects of poverty. Our service is for anyone struggling to afford what we believe is an ‘essential’ after food and fuel for the healthy development of children pre-birth to 18, Including items for expectant mothers.'
