Story

The new EACH Centre in Framingham Pigot (Norfolk), is just a stones throw from where I live. I have visited the centre several times (once or twice dressed as an Elf with Santa, but that's another story!) and was involved professionally with the design and delivery of the hospice. The work they do is amazing and almost entirely funded by Charity. There daily costs are in the thousands and always need your support.

As a father of two little girls, the thought of what parents go through if they require the services of EACH are unbearable. Therefore if we can raise a bit of money through my adventure to Barcelona it will help.

My old school friend Paul Sayles and I are going to drive from Norwich to Barcelona at the end of June 2023. We are taking the long route going via 7 countries and over the highest pass in the Alps and through the Ski resorts in Italy..... stopping in Monte Carlo on the way. Its over 1700 miles and spread over 4 days, to top it off, we are doing it in a Batmobile...... well a 19 yearold Audi TT, with 176,000 miles on the clock, more dents than a steel drum and used as a dog bed for the last 4 years. We will be converting the Audi into a Batmobile over the coming weeks and doing the trip dressed as Batman and Robin (most of the time). Its a one way trip for the old Audi and if it makes it all the way to Barcelona and can enjoy a retirement in the sun, or get recycled!
