London to Paris · 11 May 2025

Founded in 1976 by children’s author Michael Morpurgo and his wife Clare, our three farms welcome 3000 children and young people from underserved communities each year, helping them to step outside of their daily lives, learn new skills, grow in confidence and be braver, stronger and more resilient.

Story

TRAFiX are supporting us riding from to Trade Tech Paris for the third year.

We're again riding for Farms for City Children that exists to remove the barriers that prevent children and young people having meaningful access to the natural world. By being a farmer for a week on one of our working farms in Devon, Gloucester and Pembrokeshire, children experience the physical and mental health benefits of being in the countryside, helping them grow in courage, compassion and curiosity. Your support can enable more 8–18 year olds from under-served areas of the UK to visit our farms & strengthen their connections to food, farming and nature well-being.
