Tim's fundraiser for St Elizabeth Hospice (Suffolk)

Ipswich Half Marathon 2023 · 17 September 2023 ·
Here I go again, another little challenge that I have even suggested myself (running the Ipswich half Marathon on September 17th 2023)! However, this was stimulated by the passing of one of our dear friends Mr John Rogers ( Johnnie Rog) earlier this year and by my dear mother Mary Brewster (Mrs B) who passed away in 2002. They were both wonderfully cared for by the staff at St Elizabeth Hospice, Ipswich.
At St Elizabeth Hospice they provided an individualised approach to support both my mother and John, their support in the last months really made a difference to those of us who were nearest to them.
I would really appreciate your sponsorship support as this will give me the impetus, I need to make a HUGE effort to get me over the line. Thank you for your support, Tim.
Running Costs of the Hospice
St Elizabeth Hospice is an independent Suffolk charity, which every year delivers care to over 3,000 patients and their families throughout East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney, who are living with a progressive or life-limiting illness. These services cost £12.9m to facilitate each year, with the charity raising 70% of funds via revenue streams and the generosity of the community through support of its retail shops and fundraising activities.
