Our youngest Son James, passed away in June 2024 from a completely unexpected heart attack at the age of just 27. The last two years have been very difficult for our whole family.

However we have been comforted by the fact that he was able to donate his organs and save the lives of 4 others.

Many of my friends will know that I am a keen cyclist and riding long distances on my own has really helped me deal with the loss of James. So in memory of James and also to raise some money for the Donor Family Network, I am planning to ride from the Southernmost to the Northernmost point of Germany a distance of over 900 miles.

They Donor Family Network, are really helping to raise awareness of organ donation as well as providing support to the families of donors.
