In 2023, I had my Cavernoma taken out in London. I thought it was a quick easy operation, but it was a large operation (craniotomy on my left temporal lobe)

and very hard on me in lots of ways.

In September 2023, I met Headway Hertfordshire, and they have supported me since then. I have met my Occupational Therapist lots of times since then and had counselling, help and support.

Headway Hertfordshire has helped me understand my body, myself and work on my social skills, including my speech and balance!

I am a different person now, and I want to give something back to this amazing charity that does so much for anyone with brain issues, from a stroke to an accident and surgery.

I am also interested in talking to anyone that would like to help or join me in this fundraising, particularly if you can drive!
