Story
I run a half marathon almost every year dressed in an outfit. I have been a chilli pepper, a pineapple, a lobster, a banana, an octopus and this year, I am flamingo.
This all started thanks to a great friend of mine, Oli, who sadly died from a rare form of sarcoma. He was an inspirational and upbeat person, and he encouraged us to do this alongside him for a few years. This year, ten of his friends will put on flamingo outfits and sweat through the streets of central London in his memory and to raise money for the Royal Marsden, which gave him excellent care and the best chance at beating cancer.
If you can spare a dime or two I would be very grateful!
